McGinlay wins 2nd League Championship!
Jack McGinlay has clinched his 2nd
League title by beating Craig Laird in a tightly fought race by 5 points! McGinlay now joins Laird and Mick Schwartz as the
only tipsters to have won the League on 2 occasions and he was delighted “Its been 15 long seasons since I won the League,
I have won the Euro Cup in between but there really is nothing like winning the League and while Paul Cox bids for a 5th
knockout cup trophy this weekend he’d give them all up for a League Championship!” For Laird it was close but
no cigar and he’s now been a runner up on 3 occasions.
Vlad Peric who was well and truly in the title
race up until round 8 finished 3rd, Clinton May showed again he’s a young star on the rise with a 4th
place finish while Brenton Agars had his highest ever League finish and will be hoping this kick starts his ailing career.
McGinlay became the 2nd highest ever scorer just behing James Burgess’s 128pts in season 18 while Craig Laird
scored the highest score by a runner up which Mick Schwartz held with 107 pts in season 20. Andy Sayner finished the season
as wooden spooner 2 pts clear of former wooden spooner Robbie Knowles.

final after 2 semi final loses and a career of under achieving. He will meet Vlad Peric who has had a dream season in only

looking for a 3rd trophy and a 2nd Uefa Cup, something not yet done. He will meet John Boeje a tipping
original in his 24th season and aiming to win his 4th trophy and 1st in 13 season! Boeje
has played 2 won 2 in finals compared to Simons played 3 won 1! Winner

Cup Final and is looking for trophy number 5! Paul won the FL cup 2 in season 20 by beating his opponent Sam Johnson’s
dad Steve in what is arguably the worst cup final in history 2-2! For Sam this is a chance to get revenge and in doing so
